I build for the people who run the business

I'm Liam Cohen. Titan Strategies is just me. I build websites, AI assistants, and brands for owner-run businesses, from wineries to insurance agencies to the trades. Before this, I spent most of my working life inside restaurants, bars, and wineries.

Photojournalist first

Before hospitality, I worked internationally as a photojournalist. The job was to find the true story quickly and tell it with pictures. That habit stuck. I still start every project by working out what's true about a business, then making sure the website and the brand show it.

26 years in hospitality

Then I spent 26 years in restaurants, bars, and wineries. I started in the dish pit and worked my way to general manager, through just about every station in between. I know what a Friday night looks like from the kitchen, the bar, the floor, and the office.

That's where I learned what every owner-run business has in common: too much to do, not enough hours, and no patience for tools that make the day harder. It's also why my hospitality consulting is hands-on: menus, POS, staffing rhythm, wine club programs, permits, and openings. I've seen up close what happens when those go wrong.

Why I build now

Small businesses get sold websites they can't update, software they don't need, and monthly fees that never end. I started Titan Strategies in 2024 to do it differently: build things owners actually own, explain them in plain English, and design them around how the business really runs.

How I work

  • You talk to the person doing the work. There's no account manager and no hand-offs.
  • You own what I build. Your site, your accounts, and your data stay yours, with no lock-in.
  • Nothing goes out without you. AI assistants draft, and you approve.
  • Plain English. If I can't explain it simply, I haven't done my job.
